Not Taker Reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I didn't whip up a last ride after Smackdown because there was really not much to talk about. There was UT's interview concerning Hell in A Cell. It was kind of spooky the way he was talking. He's real good at playing up the "severity" of the dreaded Hell in a Cell. The four way match, was as expected a screw job from the words HHH and Rikishi earned themselves a one day suspension. We knew once Foley sent them off, they'd be back. HHH and Rikishi crashed the match, and UT was hit with a chair. On to Armageddon. This will not be my usual slam the WWF fare. There was nothing to bitch about. It was simply boring. Our webmaster Sabretooth brought the fact that recaps and interviews were taking up more time the usual. Although UT's very animated, so sick it was cool interview was worth it. The match itself, was alright. It was not about technical merit. It was just about beating the hell out of one another. So I really don't want to hear some slapnut saying how aweful UT was. How the fuck would they know, UT was hardly on camera. Everybody did their share. HHH took most of the big out if the cage bumps. Rikishi took the Mick Foley HIAC Bump Award for HIAC 5. Rewind a bit. At one point Vince and the stooges come down with this truck full of hamster chips that are used to line the bottom on hamster cages or some kind of shavings. His goal was to tear down the cell, but was stopped by Mick Foley who had the boss hauled off by security. Back to the present. HHH and Asstin has climbed off of the cage. UT and Fagle had climbed up. Taker had beaten Angle down and grated his face on the top of the cage like Kurt's face was cheese. Rikishi had made his way up the cage, but the Crock only pursued him to a point. Someone on the ground managed to get UT a chair, which he used on Angle only to have it used on him by Rikishi. A couple of shots to the head, one to the back, and being choked with the chair didn't sit well with The Phenom. So when Fatass went for Angle this gave UT some recovery time. They began fighting on tope of the cage. We had the battle of headbutts for a second, until Taker started forcing Rikishi back with big punches. Then it happened, UT set up Rikishi for the chokeslam. It was more of a shove really. Right off the cage and into that truck full of shavings below. Rikishi is down, UT collapses at the top of the cage, and that's the last we see of him. This is the WWF's way of keeping Taker away from the action so it is more believeable he couldn't stop the pin below. Everyone who is left took turns using their finisher or interupting the count. Asstin hit the stunner on Crock, but was unable to capitalize. Fagle dragged himself over, and flopped his hand on Crock's shoulder, and that was the pin. Fagle is still champion. Something about this screams far from resolved. Fagle will be happy he won. Crock will be opissed and say he wasn't pinned and Asstin wil be pissed that someone esle took advatange of his move to win. HHH was down when this happened, so what his claim to the title? If he is in fact going to participate in the Royal Rumble. UT and Rikshi were out of it too, so there's no contraversy there. Looks like they're heading for a fued. My concern is backlash towards UT for being the man who shoved Rikishi off the cage. So the events in the next couple of weeks could put Taker, HHH, and Rikishi back in the title race in time for the Royal Rumble. With 30 slots open, they should find a place. All I can say is UT wasn't screwed, he didn't take a huge bump, he didn't go back to his Lord of Darkness persona (hahahaha)
