Instead of my usual recap, I figured I'd do some observations. 1. This match had screw job and Vince McMahon written on it from the word go. The Deadman was right. Vince would get The American Bad Ass and the Brahma bullshit into a situation they couldn't walk out of champs. I also said UT and Crock would turn on one another. Judging by the looks on their faces as Smackdown went of the air, that was not too far from either of their minds. However, when the cameras were off, UT came back and chokeslammed either Edge or Christain. Didn't touch Cryvia. 2. Did I miss a Taker interview? I could have sworn one was mentioned in the spoilers. Maybe it didn't air. 3. Taker didn't look well. To me he looked like he was ready to barf. He appeared kind of pale and tired. He didn't have his usual energy. Was is just me? 4. Nice Arm bar take down from The Phenom on Christain. 5. After UT nailed the Last Ride, Fagle looked over his shoulder three, count them, three times. He saw Taker had the pin. So it really wouldn't have mattered that Crock attacked Queen Kurt. Vince's new bitch the current WWF chump wouldn't have called the rest of the match fair. 6. UT got two pin falls out of this match, but thanks to Cryvia, the second one wasn't counted until it was too late. Like Fagle would have counted it anyway. 7. Since Fagle was out, then Hebner came down to officiate the rest of the match, did that mean UT and Crock really lost? 8. Once UT left the ring with Edge or Christain, why did Hebner follow? I know it was all set up that way. But dumbass the action was in the ring, not outside. 9. Taker really wasn't being Crocky's cheerleader. 10. See what happens when one allows STRAMPhanie McFuckoff to write angles. I have no objection to Edge and Christain like I would say have for Lame or Asstin. So them being tag chams is fine. But when Vince's baby girl is free to plot the course of events deserving people like UT are only title holders for ONE FREAKIN DAY! That is not right. His 1st WWF title riegn last what, a week. His second nearly 5 months. No complaint there. His third was not that long. He didn't hold the title belt for all that long on the four occasions he ws part of a tag team. The screws keep a coming. I'm not one of these people who who think a wrestler has no worth without a title. After all, I have said over and over how meaningless and disposable the titles are now. I was indifferent when UT claimed gold on Raw. Nor I am the type that turns and blind eye to the possibility he may not want to be a champion. But if the WWF is going to give him title runs. Do it right. If he doesn't want to, don't bother at all. If there is no other choice, then that's when he will retain the title for long periods of time and he will put a showstopping effort into it whether he wants to or not. Other then that, we get this one day crap which is simply a waste of time. One word, two syllables(sp?), POINTLESS. Maybe I was seeing something that wasn't there, but he was either not well or not thrilled with having to get in the ring the very next night and drop the titles. 11. It was Cole if I recall that as the show closed pondered "did Vince know about this?" About the sacrew job. I understand he is only doing his job, but duh. Of course he knew about it. Why else would he send Fagle to ref a match that invovled his friends against two people who want to rip his head off? He was motivated by his spite for Foley. The former comish assigned the title match on Raw. Now Vince wants to undo everything Foley hath wrought. McFuckoff knew Crock and Taker would get screwed. All and all, this Smackdown was really nothing to get into.
