The good ole Deadman isn't sure if the column for Smackdown will be read. After the shirtless bit UT pulled, the ladies all passed out.


First a tiny rant. If anyone says no one is buying UT's biker persona, they are too ignorant for their own good and deserve to have their limited intelligence insulted by the product that is the WWF. The fans went nuts tonight. The more damage Taker and Lame inflicted, the more the crowd cheered. True, they don't chant Undertaker anymore, but when he lands a move they react. His entrance and this bit with Kane move the audience to their feet.

Onto the good stuff. It wasn't a total squash, but Taker and Lame (I hate having to include him) soundly beat the Samoan Fatass'. Viewers got the pleasure of seeing Taker's timeless flying lariat and his ever so graceful rope walk. The Phenom had the match won after nailing Haku square in the head with a steel chair. But of course Lame had to have his time in the sun by beating Rikishi up in the ring. Ripping off UT's leg drop. Finally after that was done, UT rolled Hachoo into the ring and ref noticed Haku was bleeding. By then Rikishi was too. Taker and Lame continued to beat mercilessly on their bloodied opposition. Zebras(refs) filled the ring, but The ABA kept scaring them off.

This is more like it. More even matches. None of this American Door Mat(a la Sabre)bullshit. The Psycho Phenom really works for him. If the WWF wants the American Badass stint to work, they need to allow UT to be the guy no one wants to fuck with. They only sabotage themselves by starting something the fans can and will get behind then stopping it. So I will believe any prolonged improvement when I see it.

Well, see y'all on the boards. I hope none of the ladies hurt themselves on the fall to the floor.
