If he could hold his own fine, but he is riding on Taker's coat tails again. Damn. Just when The Phenom appears to have a direction, he is stuck carrying more dead weight. It would be cool to have UT V Rock V Benoit for the title, but NOOOOO! Who has to be added, The Big Red Retard. Safe to say, once Lame gimped down to the announce table everyone knew Taker and Crock would not be tag champions. Back to the action. Some naysayers have been trying to impress upon the populace the idea Taker's pops are dying out. The novelty of him being back has worn off. Behold the pop in Tennessee. I say it tied Crock's. Some say it was bigger. The crowd was so vocal while UT was in the ring, that some couldn't hear Lame's "commentary" Though they really weren't missing anything. On to the match. It was pretty much all UT. Not much new from the big man, but he certainly picked his speed up a few notches. He got double teamed a lot and The Peon's chump made half hearted, minimal efforts to help UT. Finally The American Bad Ass tags out. Then Crock starts getting into trouble in the ring. Taker can't help him becuase out runs Benoit. The Taker beats him like a red headed step child. UT turns his attention back to The Crock, but he can't tag out. As Rock mounts an offense and goes for a pin, the inevitable happened. Lame couldn't keep his hands off Crock for the second time. He drags Crock out of the ring forcing both Taker and ref to turn their attention there. Of course in classic Edge and Christian fashion, they double teamed Crock, and made a roody pooh steel chair sandwhich. I wonder, were to roadies able to remove the people's eyebrow from the chair? How convient the ref turns around in time to count 3 on an unconscious Rock. UT was still trading blows with Lame, so didn't know what happened until it was too late. I have a sick feeling of where this is all going. In an attempt add heat to the three way title hunt, Crock will somehow blame UT for not helping him. Not realizing that Taker, as what seems to be usual now, was walking behind him shoveling up the pieces of Brahma bullshit. And for all Taker's efforts, the biggest piece of shit of all, Lame grabbed UT's shovel and broke it. So Taker couldn't use his roody pooh pooper scooper to scrape up Edge and Christain. Look up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Smackdown. God bless spoilers. With them, I can avoid the hype of Austin's return and brace myself for possible disappointment.
