Those odds being Benoit,Lame, Snobby Cryvia, and the promised re- emergence of Snooze Asshole (Steve Austin). After how UT exited the arena tonight, it is almost a gaurantee that if Asstin does not cost The American Bad Ass the win, he will certainly appear to either remove Taker from the action or ruin his celebration as the new WWF champion. However, first things first. Comissioner Foley has just about everyone on the roster gathered at ringside to further drag out this whole who ran down Asstin crap. Foley blames Crocky. Then HHH. HHH blames Queen Kurt. Even Essa Rios gets dragged into this. X-lax gets the finger of blame pointed at him, as does Jericho. He accuses Stephanie, who then says it was The Undertaker who did it. The Phenom takes to the ring and concurs with Jericho that Stephanie is a sleazy tramp. Angle, who was recently outed by HHH, attacked UT from, guess where? Behind. A brawl ensued. UT kept Lame from even getting into the ring, he then proceeded to hurl Miss Angle to the concrete. Leaving Taker,HHH, and Crocky. To the match. Ok, so shoot me, I didn't pay attention until Taker got into the ring. He basically threw Benoit around like a mean junk yard dog that sinks his teeth into a human limb then rips it right off. UT's chosen weapons to dispatch of Benoit with, a slam, elbow drop, and THE ROPE WALK! Something about seeing a man who is advertised as near 7' and 330LBS walking those ropes never gets old. As we all know, no one person can get his advantage forever, but since we are talking about The Taker here it happened as it usually does. Lame sticks his nose in it, benoit then gets UT tied up in the ropes and starts pounding him. Then tags in The Big Red Retard who continues to beat on Taker that way. When Lame pulls the I wanna be like Mark routine by intimidating the ref, he tunred around to be greeting by Taker's massive foot. So Lame tries to whip him to the ropes. He lowered his head to soon. What did he get for that? a DDT. UT eventually tags the Rock. Fast foward to more Undertaker. As Benoit and Lame are beating the Rock up the ramp, HHH and Angle are flat on their backs in the ring. UT is left with a tough choice. Help Crocky, AGAIN by leaving HHH or stay to help HHH but let Cryvia get beat down. He opts to help Crock since it didn't seem HHH was going to need him for a bit. He forces Lame and Benoit back as refs pour out from the back to restrain everyone. Now I can imagine SA is livid once he sees how UT choses to leave the fray. With 275LBs of Brahma Bullshit rolling around on the ramp, UT mounts his ride and runs right up the ramp. Crock happens to be right in the middle, but gets out of the way seconds before being hit by Taker. In Asstin's small mind damaged by excessive drinking, he now thinks he knows who is guilty. OK, The Deadman has a thought or two on this. It was fine when Asstin menaced people with trucks of various kinds, but when someone gave him a taste of his own medicine it is a different story. Now that UT appears guilty in the eyes of a ignorant redneck, how long will The Phenom be subjected to being attacked by SA until he is proven innocent? Does this mean a heel turn for UT to begin another pathetic, over extended feud with Asstin? For some reason I doubt it means UT is going heel. The WWF has come so far with his American Bad Ass persona that to throw it on this is so pointless. I mean come on. It was someone who had a lot to gain by Asstin not being around. Someone whose career would florish in some way. How could Taker's career benefit from Snooze missing from action is The Undertaker himself was not around for 7 months after it happened? Sure UT is doing great now, but SA came back once before him, and Asstin will continue to play to the ignorant masses when he comes back, so was it worth it if it was Taker? Nope. This attack was obviously premeditated. To the point that the guilty party stole Rock's rental car. Does the WWF expect us to believe that Taker actually only came back to get Asstin? That he had the MOD steal Crock's car, then he waited unseen for God knows how long to wait for SA to appear in the parking lot. Come on. Even as a heel, Taker would just step to Asstin tio beat his ass. All signs point, to Taker, but he is really not the most likly of suspects. Unforgiven is just three days away. If UT wins, his glory will be short but lived since the WWF is still catering to Asstin.
