Deadman90 09/25/00 3:45 PM Hee Haw 2000 (AKA Unforgiven) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hee Haw 2000. I call it such because it unjustly became Asstin's PPV. BTW, Hee Haw was a show that featured rednecks acting and lots of country western music. See it pays to have had a redneck uncle. Thank God it was by marriage. He did absolutly nothing worthy of the hoopla. And him going back to his same tricks was a let down. Like I expected anything great out of someone who looks and moves like an old shoe that UT chewed up and spit out. This PPV may have been better if the WWF wasn't overdoing concepts. Someone going through at table at the hands of the Dudley's, hey that's a new one. The Hardy's using ladders and chairs, OH MY, what a novel idea. That is one problem with the WWF now a days. The "superstars" are so one dimensional. They get them over on one thing, then beat that one thing into the ground. I suppose it is still exciting to people who make Kane look like Einstein. It got old real quick to the Deadman. It will be their downfalls once even the masses of asses gets tired of it. UT even as The American Bad Ass is so multi dimensional and full of substance that anyone with taste can't get sick of him. This PPV was such a monumentous piece of shit, that out of sheer insanity brought on by the over played SA hype, I counted everything Austin. In 2 hours and 20 minutes there were nearly 82 Austin references. What constitutes a reference? Stone Cold, The Rattlesnake, Steve Austin, the pronoun HE pertaining to Asstin, any time someone used an Asstin catch phrase, his TV appearances, and RC edge poster. I didn't add in the promo that ran as the PPV started and the numerous times he was shown in the Raw ads. Between Three announcers they talked about him 82 times. All the previous attention and 82 mentions was not warrented considering all SA did was the same boring rubbish he does on Raw. Then there were of course his five appearences. The 5th one where he encountered Shane struck me as interesting. Just to stun Shane and Blackman, he needed that knee brace. And people complain about The Undetaker's physical condition! Asstin can't even put forth a minimal effort without the brace. Yup, there's some one who needs to be champion while a 100% healthy Taker can't defend the title in his condition and that's why he is not champion right now. Speaking of mainevent, doth mine ears decieve me? JR dissed the fatal four way. As the pic of the four participants went up, JR was still marking out over Snooze Asshole. More then the fans did. His pop was apathetic for someone who is supposed to be so popular. I am sure though, everyone else is saying he had the biggest. If they think that was big, they need to re run the tape of Judgment day when UT came back. Now that was a pop. Some of Taker's pops on Smackdown and Raw are bigger then Asstin's for his return. Anyway, Jim Ross actually says, referring to SA, " I can't see how it could get any better then this." before his segway into the mainevent. He loves Asstin so much that it seems all that is left for the two to do is take a romantic moon light row on the lake, with a bottle of JR's barbeque sauce, and some vasoline. The whole thing was beyond sad and way past pathetic. To the fatal four way. No suprises here. Unless one calls UT getting screwed once more, a surprise. The match focusses on UT, Crocky, and Benoit. Lame did nothing but rip off two of Taker's moves. One old and One new. He didn't sell to anyone. Why was he here? To make sure The Undertaker didn't win. There are a few key points I'd like to make. UT took the majority of the punishment. Hit with a chair twice compared to Crock and Lame's once a piece. One shot lead to phony contraversy. UT was hit with steel steps. He was double teamed at least once. Once one guy was finsihed with him, another would just jump on him. He took a top rope axe handle smash, and was yanked off the top rope by Crock when he tried to do his rope walk. It always happens when he is the ring the with a fad. UT scoring a clean pin when it didn't matter is balanced by Crock giving his crock bottom, making it appear he is the only one alive with the insight to see where UT was going with the rope walk, and winning. EGO! The American Bad Ass also got chokeslammed. And JR had the nuts to say the odds were stacked against Rock! The match did go back and forth. There were many pin fall attempts that were kicked out of or broken up. There was one Crock bottom on Benoit. Two crippler crossfaces. One on Rock, one on Benoit. Which neither Benoit or Crock was submiting to. Two chokeslams. One on UT and one on Benoit by Taker. One Last Ride on Crocky. UT had the match won on two occasions. He had The Peon's chump out cold after the Last Ride. But it doesn't take a rocket to scientist to know Lame, who was right behind all of this, would stop the count. After UT dealt with Lame a bit, he chokeslammed Benoit. Lame grabbed UT's leg and fought with him some more. UT's technically helped Crocky retain this time. Like at KOTR. Except at Unforgiven, UT did not walk away when he saw his opportunity slipping away. Lame stopped him. Some slapnuts will say Deadman, UT was in danger of being pinned like everyone else. Well true, but even if The Big Red Retard wasn't in this match, when UT was in any danger of being pinned either Crock or Benoit would have stopped it. Until we arrived to the point where UT had both Crock and the wolverine down and out. Both were down for much longer then three. Since I am discussing the possiblity of the pin, I might as well cover the phony contraversy. Soon after the match started, after The Phenom had disposed of Crock with a chair. Benoit picked it up and belted UT with it. He then proceeded to go for a pin. He seemed to have got it. The ref called the match and handed Benoit the title. As Benoit walked up the ramp, out comes Mick Foley. Benoit all of sudden looks shocked. It wasn't because he saw Crock, Taker, and Lame all walking towards him. It was because Foley had informed him he didn't win the match. It was obvious right off why he hadn't. The Undertaker's foot was CLEARY on the ropes before the ref hit three. Clear to everyone but the ref it seems. The dumb ass zebra was out of position when he made the count. Mick Foley did the right thing. Even if it had been UT where Benoit was and someone else where UT was, I would still say the Commish did the right thing. So really the only danger Taker was ever in of being pinned, he got out of himself. That with Benoit wanting to be champion and Crock wanting to stay champion point to UT not being pinned. They would have wanted to break the other's count on Taker. Which leads us to the point where both Benoit and the king roody pooh of them all could have been successful pinned by UT. So there really is no contraversy. Mick Foley did his job to prevent an even bigger screw job. It is only contraversail to those who wanted Benoit to win. Sadly, SOME of those people are alleged Undertaker fans in an e-group through a UT site. I'm sure they would have been screaming Benoit's foot was on the rope and UT didn't win if the roles were reversed. They would have prayed for Foley to come out. If he didn't, they would have cried blue murder. Their ignorance shows why the WWF has gotten as far as it did. Especially if they think that Foley reversing a refs decision after not only seeing Benoit cheat, but a ref make a bad call was a screw job. UT being hit with a chair and being considered pinned when he wasn't is not a screw job? But someone cheating, then benefitting from a refs bad call, only have it over turned is? I maybe biased, but at least I know when someone regardless of if I like them or not was screwed, and UT was. Raw is a Snore moves to TNN tonight. Look for more of the same BS from Snooze Asshole. Benoit will whine for sure. Crock will ramble endlessly about how he over came all the odds to retain his title. While I am on the topic of the Crock, I got a message for him. He said how UT was probably riding around the arena a few more times because it gives him that "special feeling" Cryvia, he gets that same feeling when he's fucking your wife and mother. So Snobby needs to go find good ole Mary Jane Rottencrotch and try to get a piece. The bad news is, I hear she has never forgotten what a bad lay Crock was. His luck just hit Rock bottom.
