This is not the same groin that plagued 'Taker a few months ago and is not considered as serious as the torn groin problem he had at that time. The veteran is not expected to miss any significant ring time but could be held out of action until No Mercy as a precaution. No doubt the rumors will once again begin that the Undertaker cannot get healthy and will be unable to be a top hand because of his physical state. Don't bet on it. There is plenty left in his tank. Love that Ross Report. Although it confirms the injury is real, at least The Phenom is not as bad off as he was with the previous injury. This one is a pull, not a tear. Still painful for sure. Finally the WWF is giving Taker priority when he gets injured. Some of his old battle wounds never healed correctly due to the WWF not allowing him time off. I guess they realize they are beginning a transition period and will need Taker. So it's best to give him the time he needs. Out ring action until No Mercy. That suits me just fine. Ross even said what I have been thinking all along. The time between now and No Mercy is insignificant. Is it really nessecary for him to wrestle pointless matches that will only be intefered with or do runs ins? I say no. Besides we all have a clus who he will face if he can heal himself up for No Mercy. Snobby Cryvia. But good Ole JR only mentioned UT may not being used THIS WEEK. So that does not mean all us fierce Taker loyal will have to go without the REAL American Bad Ass for to long. Commentary would be nice. Maybe a promo here and there. The last lines are my favorite. Internet "reporters" love to jump on news like this. They always say his injuries are the reason he is not champion and so on. Jim Ross kind of threw that arguement out the window. One more thing before I go. If I hear one person complain that Taker is getting more time off, I will blow a casket.. I mean gasket. Some bitched when UT left for his honeymoon that he had just got an 8 month leave. They made it sound like that 8 months was a tip toe through the daisys with his lady. WRONG! Surgery, therapy, pain, then getting back into shape. Not to fun from where I sit. Some had the grapefruits to say they weren't going to wait for him to come back because they felt it was some kind of game he was playing. And how ungrateful they sounded. One would think that after nearly ten years of sacrifice, commitment, and countless hours of entertainment that so called Undertaker fans would at least grant him two weeks of personal happiness. So if anyone out there is inclined to gripe, don't. Be glad the WWF is showing Taker this consideration. Or would they prefer UT forced into premature retirement? Well, since it is not a definite Taker will be on WWF programming, it is back to watching something educational. Now when was Married with Children on again?
