Just another victim..of the scissors
Gay wrestling fans held a National Day of Mourning when Billy Gunn cut
his hair. Nobody gave a shit when Steven Richards or Val Venis did it.
There's been a few others who succumbed to the scissors, but the only
other men I can think of are Big Show (who I'd make fun of whether his
hair was long or non-existent) and Torrie (the one that used to be a man
*before* the sex change, not the one who used to be in WCW).
No one's haircut has caused as much mayhem among fans as Undertaker's.
The funny thing about it is how riled up his Sheeple become when any of
us who *dare* to call ourselves Taker fans express a dislike for his new
look. The regular Taker fan who happens to like his hair short doesn't
mind if others find it a little, uh, dorkish. But the Sheeple are
different. They come unglued if anyone doesn't "support *everything* he
does 100%." I've got one word for them: Baaaaaaaaa.
I was too busy with other things to pay much attention to this week's
RAW. I watched the first 15 minutes or so: just long enough to see the
Taker/Spike match. I probably won't see RAW next week, and I know I
won't see it Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. (I'll be too busy playing
with my "Mr. WWF Head" or my "Flair Hair Care" kit.)
So the regular old FuckWad format will be put on hold till the January
7th show. However, I'd like to invite all my readers to vote for the
prestigious PhuhQuad of the Year recipient. It can be *anybody* in the
WWF: wrestlers, announcers, owners, refs, spouses, grandmothers,
children, etc. Anyone is eligible if they've been on WWF programming at
any time throughout 2001. Please give me one reason (or more, if you
want) why you think your nominee should be PhuhQuad of the Year. Also,
let me know if you want your first name mentioned, or if you'd prefer to
be "anonymous". I'll print all e-mails received between now and the end
of the year. The person with the most nominations will be the 2001
